The History, the Food, the Wine, the never ending Beauty at every turn!!!!
There are soooo many things to do there.....but I advise, always try to leave a few things to come back to. Not that you need a reason to come back!
As my travel agent advised me decades ago on my first trip, "try not to do everything during your first week". Sage advise, "sit back and enjoy, soak in Paris, become one with the city". And so hundreds of trips later, I still have a list of things I want to do and see again....or for the first time.
Sometimes, you can wear yourself out by to many museums in one day....I advise no more than 2 hours spent in a museum in one day...I promise, your mind will go into overload and you won't enjoy it nearly as much as dividing it up among the days that you are there.
Same goes with racing to see all of the famous sites....spread them out, enjoy the neighborhoods and stroll along the streets and alleys.
But when you really need a break from it all...
How about the BEACH! or a fun ride in the AMUSEMENT PARK!!!!
Mai Non en Paris you say.... MAI OUI !!!!
for a select few weeks in the summers Paris offers a brief alternative to the history and culture.....
The Beaches of Paris along the Seine complete with sand,
And the Tuilleries Gardens !!!!You'll never believe you are still in Paris as your Ferris Wheel lifts you off the ground.... but have your camera ready.. a most splendid view of the city awaits you at the top of the climb. Games, and silly rides and lots of fun await you in the gardens. And your kids, and maybe your own kiddish heart will enjoy the fun!Have fun, mes amis!!!!
