My French Chateau
800 Miami Circle
Suite 220 (upstairs)
Atlanta, GA 30324

Tel: 404-964-4633

Open the doors of My French Chateau and enter a world of European History and Charm. Originally started as a warehouse of treasures found in Europe for the website myfrenchchateau.com. At fans requests, both retail and wholesale, owner Lee Scott, opened a retail showroom. You`ll find antique and vintage paintings, books, unique carvings, elements and gilt fragments, as well as a collection of furniture and wine accessories. Our showroom is fun, playing French music, serving French wine & chocolates and occasionally a French movie being shown, My French Chateau is never posh, never presumptuous, but always engaging...Mai oui!, there is a bit of France in Atlanta!

A quiet day

After all the traveling, working on the showroom, running to and from the framers, even this little energizer bunny needs a day of rest! Today was a quiet day, just working on the website and receiving a box from Belgium of some lovely paintings I bought there my last visit. What a nice way to spend the day. Hope you like them too. Day #4 - South of France Adventure!

The Market starts off slow this early morning..everyone still exhausted from yesterday. But the heat and the crowds soon arrive and we're all ready to bargain!

Findings lots of lovely paintings and antique documents! Wood carvings and these vintage lime carvings will make wonderful lamps!
It was a great fair...but I have to return early back to Atlanta tomorrow as I know you're waiting for the treasures that I'm bringing home in suitcases. The rest will be shipped and I'll keep you posted on the container delivery to the showroom.
Looking forward to seeing everyone either Tuesday & Wednesday at the Miami Circle showroom or at the Scott Antique Market next weekend. Otherwise...I'll see you on line!
Merci beaucoup,
Lee

And au revoir to my favorite Brochette chef....until next time!

Day #3 - The South of France Adventure

Day 3 of my buying adventure starts with the pushing and shoving of dealers and buyers as they race in together at 8am. Not knowing what's in store for us buyers, our heart beats faster as we finally enter the gates. Which way do we go first? Our favorite dealers, or someone new yet to be discovered? I pass by friends and wave a quick hello as this is no time to stand and chat if we want to make that special purchase before anyone else finds it first!

By the end of the long exhausting day, many calculations and invoice writing later....I can say it was a great day!

I found lots of old standbys, and some new treasures never before seen. You're going to love them!

Lots of beautiful tables, comfy chairs, and yes, those still greatly desired starburst mirrors! And even another globe....because it always important to not only know where you've been, but where you're going!
And tomorrow morning.....I'm going back to the fair!!!
Bonne Nuit! Lee

South of France Buying Trip

A toast of Champagne to celebrate the start of a hopefully successful & fun trip to the South of France.
Follow me over the next few days as I go on my buying trip.
Some treasures I'll post will be coming back with me in my suitcases, others will be shipped along with other items from the last buying trip. If you have any questions about any of these pieces, don't hesitate to ask!
My train leaves from Charles de Gaulle Airport, several stops and one delay later, I arrive on the beautiful coastline. Exhausted, but ready to begin the adventure! The hotels book up quickly as dealers and buyers from all over the world converge on the antique markets. You can feel the tension and anticipation in the air!
Wish me a Grand Bon Chance!
